Our Pheasant & Partridge Working Practices

We have worked closely over the years with both individual pheasant shoots and large estates to produce not only quality and healthy pheasant and partridge poults , but pheasant amd partridge that are suited to both the terrain and topography on which it is to be released. We specialise in French Ring neck pheasants and crosses but other breeds of pheasant poults are available by request. info@westonwoodpheasantries.co.uk
We operate on two different sites, keeping our laying pheasants completely separate from our pheasant rearing field. Our pheasant laying stock is caught in each year and has always produced high quality and fertile pheasant eggs.

The majority of our stock is from our own breeding flock with a small number of imported eggs for the early customer.

We are continually updating and improving our pheasant rearing facilities, taking advantage of contemporary equipment that promotes the production of the ultimate top class pheasant poult.

Both our pheasant and partridge poults are inspected, at our request, by Specialist Avian Vets and receive a weekly 'bill of clean health' prior to being moved. We do this for our own satisfaction and are therefore completely confident that we are sending out pheasants that are in tip top condtion. Throughout the pheasant rearing season, we strongly adhere to humane rearing practices as the welfare of our pheasants is our prime concern.

Pheasant Poults are sold at a minimum of 7 weeks of age and we pride ourselves on the quality of their feathers, general health and physique and most important of all, their strength and hardiness.

We are always very happy to discuss your pheasant or partridge requirements with you and are always happy to offer the advice of over 25 years experience in the pheasant rearing industry and we can help recommend which pheasant or partridge poults which we believe will best suit your pheasant, partridge shoot.
